The very gig which paired two genres in a single show was held for the first time on 23 March 2015 in the same place and headlined Jhon Paul Ivan from national fame BOOMERANG, and Inu, an Indonesian metal veteran from Kediri-based progressive technical death metal act KILLHARMONIC.
Anthony Sinaga from Palangka Raya Metal Corner (PMC) spoke to Musik.or.id about the idea of creating the show. He said the gig was intended to give more space to local musicians from both genres to show their talents and abilities on the same stage; and to entertain both musics fans.
This year’s issue is supported by other Palangkaraya music scenes i.e. Murka (Musisi Rock Kalimantan), Borneo Dangerous United, Palangka Raya Hardcore Community (PHC) and Rumah Berkarya.

PMC is a metal music community established in 2006. Its main goal is to fake negative stereotype of heavy metal music in Palangka Raya by promoting the bright side of it, since the people who don’t understand the music identified it as something that could cause violence and other bad things. With current registered member almost a hundred, PMC never stops maintaining its existence by organizing 23 events since 2009 e.g. DISTORSI MAXIMUM, METALROCKUSTIK, SUNDAY OF INSANITY, and PALANGKA BERISIK.
